We’ve asked local businesses what they have to offer this Thanksgiving. Many are taking a break to spend time with family — and to have a well-earned break. Executive Chef Darren Pettigrew’s innovative brunch specials include Korean Fried Chicken on a biscuit with a sunny-side-up egg, and Banana Cheesecake Pancakes with crunchy peanut butter crumble. Dinner options include the Classic Fish & Chips with beer-battered pollock and mushy peas, plus Char-Grilled Steak Frites.

Mandy is offering a selection of curated wine packs to accompany the Thanksgiving meal. She tells us these are handpicked wines that “will drink beautifully as you progress through your Thanksgiving meal, as well as being special and distinctive in their own right.”

There are pies (from Hojicha Maple to Apple), whole loaves (think Kabocha Molasses or Banana Walnut bread), and Kouign-Amann (Plain or Black Sesame) on offer. You can also ship a Thanksgiving Care Packages anywhere in the US — 15% of proceeds go to The Actors Fund and the Costume Industry Coalition.

You can pre-order, and either pick-up in-store or they will deliver (Manhattan, Queens, & Brooklyn) on Tuesday (11/24) and Wednesday (11/25). More info…

Manuel and his team offer an extravagant three-course menu at $80 per person, with a children’s menu available at $40. Call to make a reservation.

It’s a Turkey kinda day — or maybe you would rather have an avocado breakfast bowl? The good news is Dalton’s have got both and much more on their delicious brunch menu served till 3pm with bottomless brunch options available.

Socrates has created a special Turkey Empanada for Thanksgiving. It’s filled with slow-roasted turkey with fresh herbs and root vegetables served with softly spiced cranberry sauce. There’s also Mama’s Mince Pies and all the usual award-winning goodness.

Daniele and team are offering all “the usual suspects” — turkey, ham, lamb shank, stuffing, sweet potatoes au gratin, pumpkin gnocchi-pumpkin ravioli duo, squash soup, stuffing, apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies, and also some tasty fall signature drinks.

For Thanksgiving, Noelia and her team have put together a special menu including Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken and traditional Turkey. You can dine in with a glass of complimentary champagne, and they are also doing delivery and pick up.

It’s official…with golf season coming to a close, Pat’s built an outdoor drinking shed! He says: “You must order food, but don’t let that deter you from pounding $5 Beers, Wine and Well drinks.” Kevin O’Brien will be your Thanksgiving bartender.

Chef Paul is doing a four-course prix fixe menu at $85 per guest. He told us: “We are still serving our regular menu, so people can do whatever they want, it’s a free for all. They can mix and match, they can do a la carte — there are no more rules, lol! And we are spreading it through the weekend.”

Marseille serves a three-course Prix Fixe for $48 per person — indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner can also be ordered for takeout from their website for $40.80 per person. If you are quick (Thursday 11/19 deadline), you can pre-order a catered dinner that serves 8-10 for $380 (pick up on the day).

Nicola and colleagues offer Roasted Butternut Squash Soup at $7, Free-range Traditional Turkey and Trimmings for $18, and Pumpkin Pie for $7. Eat there or order and pick up.

Ousia promises to “curate an unforgettable and safe experience for you and your guests.” They have a special menu featuring some of their seasonal Greek and Mediterranean favorites, alongside Thanksgiving Turkey, of course. Three-course menu $72 per person, $35 per child under 12 + all menu items available a la carte for dine-in and takeout/delivery.

Now accepting turkey pre-orders. Have it delivered or pick it up in-store. Their turkeys come from Jaindl Farms, an 85-year-old family-owned farm that raises the highest quality turkeys around. Paul tells us: “Their legendary turkeys are selectively bred to have a fuller breast, which means 54% more white meat than that of other brands”.

The restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving. They also have Thanksgiving meal kits available for curbside pick up and next day delivery. Their regular a la carte menu will be available, plus some Thanksgiving specialty items.

Victoria, the baker at REX, is making pies for pre-order! They have apple, pecan, pumpkin, and maple bourbon. If you want one before Thanksgiving, give 48 hours’ notice.

Jim and his bakers have their usual offerings. Plenty of bread, and two kinds of panettone. SSB now has a pop-up store in the West Village @ 249 Bleecker Street.

Jeremy says that the day before Thanksgiving is usually their busiest day of the year. They now sell liquor, so you can grab some exceptional whisky while you are there too!
