It’s September 30, and New York City restaurants and bars are opening their doors again to welcome customers indoors. As Nicola Arcari at Mecury Bar told us: “We wish every bar and restaurant the best of luck today! It’s been the hardest six months for all of us.”
Yesterday afternoon, we asked local restaurants to take out their cameras and send us a picture of their team preparing for the opening. Here are the neighbors who will be welcoming you back today.
These Irish eyes are smiling as they open their doors again. Kevin and Donnchadh are all set at The Landmark Tavern at 11th Avenue and W46th Street.

Amalia, Luis, and the crew at Arriba Arriba on 9th Avenue and W51st Street take a break from preparation.
P.S. Kitchen on W48th Street near 8th Avenue told us: “Tomorrow we take one giant step forward as a city! Indoor dining begins at 25% capacity. We can seat you inside or outside. Thanks for the support! We are fully committed to keeping our staff and guests safe!”
Alfie’s crew on 9th Avenue and W53rd Street have prepared the great indoors for you. They told us: “We’ve got all the right protocols — including Merv 13 filters for proper ventilation. We’re also ready for Halloween!”
Chef/Owner Giorgia is primed to make The Original Neapolitan Pizza at Don Antonio on W50th Street between 8/9th Avenue. She says: “Stay Safe, Eat Pizza!”

The guys at Flaming Saddles on 9th Avenue between W52/53rd St are polishing up their dancing boots and hot to trot.
Remember that lovely space at Bareburger on Restaurant Row? Well, it’s set to welcome you along with staff Noelle and Jesue.
Daniele with his staff at Etcetera Etcetera on W44th Street between 8/9th Avenue is all prepared.
Barista Diego is brewing up at Romeo & Juliet Colombian Coffee on W42nd St and 11th Avenue.

Oliver at Mercury Bar on 9th Avenue between W45/46th Street has your favorite cocktails on hand for your indoor dining.
The team at Hell’s Kitchen ‘ritas are making final preparations to add indoor to their outdoor setup.
Cocktails will be on hand to greet you at 44 & X on 10th Avenue and W44th Street.
Ikebana Zen planned their opening for March 20, which got somewhat delayed. They’ve been working outdoors during the summer at their W53rd St and 9th Avenue location. Today will be the first time they can serve you indoors.

We’ve all been amazed at the outdoor space that Jasper’s Taphouse has created on the corner of W51st and 9th Avenue. They just added TVs for sport outside, and are open for indoor dining from this afternoon.
Danir and his squad at Dell’Anima at Gotham West Market on 11th Avenue between W44/45th St are excited to see you.
Tulian at Frisson Espresso on W47th Street between 8/9th Avenue has very limited indoor options, but he wanted to say “hi” anyway.
Alexander and Justin from Bar Dough on Restaurant Row are delighted to be using their indoor space again. They wont be ready until tomorrow (Thursday), but there are plenty of other places to try while you wait.

You’d always expect spectacular interiors and hospitality when visiting At Nine Restaurant on 9th Avenue between W42/43rd Street. You got it!
And finally… We didn’t get a team photo from Chez Josephine, but we couldn’t resist slipping in this stock image. That’s what we remember about indoor dining… look at the tourists!
