  1. In the book ‘The Little Prince’, the prince says to the pilot:
“In one of the stars I shall be living
In one of them I shall be laughing…
And so it will be as if as if all the stars are laughing when you look at the sky at night… you only you- will have Stars that can laugh.”
To me what he saying is when you see something that reminds you of Matthew it will remind you of him as you knew him.
My mother passed on August 7th from Covid-19. I miss her so much, and all the wonderful memories that I have of my mother I will always have. Just like you do of your son.
I wish you peace and love for your daughter and husband.

  2. I wish peace and comfort for his family, esp. his mother and sister. Know that there is a divine reason beyond our understanding and you will see him again amidst joy and love.

  3. Vibrant Emotional Health’s Crisis Emotional Care Team is responding to a community crisis and is in need of 1-2 mental health volunteers to support the response.

This past week, a 13-year-old community member at Manhattan Plaza (located at W43rd Street) completed suicide. This is the second suicide that the community over 3500 people has experienced in the last few months.

Leaders of the Manhattan Tenants Association have met with our team and we have established a plan for response that will begin this weekend.

We are looking for 2 additional NY licensed mental health volunteers experienced in child and community trauma to assist in facilitating one large group session and individualized sessions from 12:30PM-7PM this Saturday under the leadership of Dr. Marcie Beigel. If you are available for some or all of that time, please reach out to Amy Carol Dominguez, Program Director of Vibrant’s Crisis Emotional Care Team – adominguez@vibrant.org.
