Hell’s Kitchen has some of the best Happy Hours in New York City — and thanks to great input from W42ST readers we’ve rounded up the pick of them just for you. So say cheers to all-day drinks from $4 and $1.50 oysters!
Alfie’s – 800 9th Ave (corner of W53rd St)
Alfie’s has a daily Happy Hour — weekdays from 12-7pm and weekends from 3-7pm, including $6 Modelo, $7 wines and select drafts, $8 old fashioned, and a $9 margarita.
“Because it’s all day and on weekends!” said Jill Lockhart.
At Nine – 592 9th Ave (bw W42/43rd St)
At Nine has Happy Hour all day and night. For just $7, you can get a martini, margarita or cosmo.
“I’m a huge fan of their Margaritas, and I love them on the rocks. It’s the classic lime Margarita on the happy hour menu that has my heart. Another drink I recommend is the apple Martini. Finally, If you’re looking for something to end your night and will slip you right into bed, then try 9 inches!” said Daniel Joel Flores
Blue Bar & Eatery – 856 9th Avenue (bw W56/57th St)
Blue Seafood Bar has an extensive Happy Hour menu from 4-7pm & 10-closing Monday- Thursday, and 11pm-closing on Fridays and Saturdays. Their Happy Hour includes a variety of cheeses and charcuterie, bruschetta’s, $1.75 oysters, and main dishes. The drinks include $29 bottles of wine, $7 glasses, and some wine and food pairing options.

“Because the wine is $7 but they also have good bruschetta and pizza,” said Krystin MacRitchie.
Giardino 54 – 400 1/2 W54th St (bw 9/10th Ave)
Giardino 54 has Happy Hour from 4-7pm and from 10pm to closing. Their options include: $6 Stella Draft, $7-8 house wines, $8 sangria & well cocktails, and $20 carafes.
“The food is good, the price is right and it is a cozy, comfortable place,” said Lori Goodman.
Kashkaval Garden– 852 9th Ave (bw W55/56th St)
Kashkaval Garden now has every day Happy Hour $7 before 7. This includes single tapas and pita, selected wines, and draft beers. Selected cocktails are also available for $11.
“It lasts until 7pm and it’s discounts on all drinks, not just beer. Plus, their food is awesome!” said Elisha Ortiz.
Marseille – 630 9th Ave (corner of W44th St)
Marseille has a great Oyster Happy Hour daily from 3:30-6:30pm. For only $1.50, you can get fresh Connecticut blue point oysters.
“It brings back an earlier era of sophistication, camaraderie, and neighborliness,” said Ellen Bay.
Mercury Bar – 659 9th Ave (bw W45/46th St)
Mercury Bar has Happy Hour Monday-Friday from 11AM-8PM. They offer $7 wines, martinis, mixed drinks, margaritas, and $5 draft beers.

Mickey Spillane’s – 352 W 49th St (corner of 9th Ave)
It’s always Happy Hour at Mickey Spillane’s, with $4 Drinks/Shots/Beers and $5 Frozen Margs all day every day from 3pm-2am.
“Nothing beats $4 drinks at ALL TIME — ALL DAY,” said April Cardena.
Mr. Biggs – 596 10th Ave (corner of W43rd St)
Mr. Biggs has all-day Happy Hour from 3pm-2am, with $4 Drinks/Shots/Beers.
“Mr Biggs has a really fun, affordable, long, casual and lively happy hour in a great location, with so many fun events like a talented karaoke crowd,” said Ludmila Merka.
Nizza – 630 9th Ave (bw W44/45th St)
Wine Wednesday is a hit at Nizza! Enjoy $20 Bottles of select bottles of wine from their world class wine list, all day and night long, every Wednesday.

“Nothing beats $20 bottles of wine on a Wednesday. Pair it with a bowl of handmade pasta or a pizza fresh from the oven,” said Julianne.
The Mean Fiddler – 266 W47th St (bw Broadway & 8th Ave)
The Mean Fiddler offers a $25 Bottomless Dinner with unlimited drinks included Wednesday-Friday from 3-9PM. The unlimited drinks include popsicle Prosecco, select beers, frozen drinks, white claws, and more!
“They have great deals, the staff is lovely and they’re always coming up with fun ways to keep their customers coming back. Plus, the live music is great!” said Molly McHale.
VIV Thai – 717 9th Ave (bw W48/49th St)
V{IV} has a great every day $8 Happy Hour Monday-Sunday 12-7pm, including wines and a large variety of cocktails.
“The service is amazing and the drinks are delicious and strong. I always feel comfortable there and love giving them my business. Consistency is key and they always deliver,” said Kristina Coppolino.
Wine Escape – 405 W 44th St (bw 9th &10th Ave)
Wine Escape has Happy Hour every day from 3:30-6:00pm. They offer rosé and white wine for $7, red wine for $9, and select cold appetizers for $7.
“Every day from 03:30 to 06:00 (EVERY DAY!!!) with one of the best wine selection in the neighborhood, in the coziest space, located in one of the prettiest blocks, with the friendliest bartenders, and some of the best small menus around!” said Ute Keyes.

Curious, DBL on Tenth Avenue has the same basic happy hour as Mr. Biggs and Mickey Spillane but was not included on your list. Is that because it is a gay bar?
