The gunpoint robbery took place at around 6am on Saturday morning (12/5) at Westfield Market Place on the corner of 10th Avenue and W48th Street.

The two fled northbound on 10th Avenue with $100 in cash (including a tip jar containing coins that you can see them swipe as they left the store).

Cops from Midtown North Precinct responded. There were no injuries.

This area has become a crime hotspot in recent months. Only a block away a NYPD Traffic Officer was assaulted last week.

If you have any information about the robbery — call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). You can also share information confidentially on their website or via Twitter @NYPDTips
