NYPD is appealing for help in identifying a suspect in the robbery of an 88-year-old woman at lunchtime on Sunday (12/20) in Hell’s Kitchen.
The robber came from behind the woman and pushed her to the ground. He took her pocketbook, which contained cash, ID, credit cards, and her iPhone.
The theft took place on W57th Street and 8th Avenue just before 1pm on Sunday.
The Crime Stoppers video shows the suspect wearing a black jacket, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, and carrying a backpack. He is aged 30-35, around 5′ 7” in height, and weighing around 150 pounds.
The elderly woman was admitted to Mount Sinai hospital with leg and face injuries.
