W42nd Street resident, Andrés Javier was taking a sunset walk on Pier 84 and spotted the huge mammal at play as a NY Waterway ferry went by. Andrés’s video (set to his own music) is enchanting.
If you were out on 10th Avenue yesterday morning, you might have thought that Pat Hughes’s latest scheme to turn around the fortunes of Hellcat Annie’s was to create a winter beach bar. After a thorough investigation, we discovered that the delivery of tons of sand was for your safety. Apparently, by December 15, all outdoor structures in the roadways have to be 18 inches wide and filled with sand.
