It really is an overwhelming situation in our neighborhood this week. Today we are reporting on a GoFundMe and Telethon to help Steve and West Bank Cafe fight for survival — and the protest for restaurant survival in Times Square yesterday.


I bumped into a couple of bar owners on 10th Avenue yesterday. They told me they would be closed, as instructed, for the snow today. I asked them if they will be taking a day off, both replied that they will be at their bars shoveling snow. It never stops…
