
Happy Wednesday. The good news is that the weather is getting back to normal. Just the chance of a shower late afternoon. However, the bad news is we’ve got the Canadian smoke back. Nobody seems sure how poor the air quality will be, but it’s already obvious in the sky this morning…
Meanwhile, we’ll be seeing something else high in the sky over Hell’s Kitchen soon. An 8th Avenue “supertall” tower containing an amusement park ride has been given the go-ahead by the city’s Department of Buildings — sparking pushback from local residents, who say the busy intersection is no place for a thrill ride. Read more…
