These trucks, like other electric vehicles, can help reduce air pollution that’s linked to thousands of premature deaths in the city each year. The vaccination rollout in the city is coming under criticism. Members of Community Board 4 described it as “ridiculous” and “insane”. One highlighted the case of Millie Glaberman.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer praised Millie as his inspirational high school teacher. When he was Borough President, Scott Stringer proclaimed March 3, 2010, Millie Glaberman appreciation day. In 2018, Senator Brad Hoylman named Millie New York State United Teachers Retiree of the year.
