I’m on a mission to get a sourdough loaf from Amy’s Bread for photographer Gary Hershorn who’s recovering from ankle surgery. Our much-missed breakfasts at the Galaxy Diner will be replaced with a Hoboken location today. What are your plans for the morning?

Late on Tuesday evening, a man parked up his van on 10th Avenue and took apart the Hell’s Kitchen Community Cupboard — a food share service that’s given so much support to the neighborhood. He pulled the cabinet over before lifting off the doors and removing the shelves. Organizers are appealing for help to get back up and running. Read more…
