Well done to everyone who volunteered for Safewalks yesterday. They have their first post-up this evening in Hell’s Kitchen.

“One screen couldn’t even capture the whole new Midtown Manhattan SafeWalks Team. In true New York spirit, we show up for each other and the Midtown Manhattan community showed it with the largest participation for a first-time SafeWalks Zoom meeting,” the organizers said on Instagram. “These are neighbors stepping up to offer you a presence if you feel unsafe. You are never alone!”
