Good morning! How’s your food hangover?
Over in the Chrissy Teigen and John Legend household, their food hangover could be put down to the huge prime rib they ordered from Piccinini Bros. It was cool to see Chrissy tagging our local butchers in her cook along. We wondered if maybe she’d downloaded the W42ST Thanksgiving App 🤣
We love seeing great street photography around the neighborhood. We’ve been following the work of Kelly McCann on Instagram. She arrived in Hell’s Kitchen in January 2020 with her husband, Cameron. She’s taken pictures of cities around the world, and loved the solace she could find in quiet, tranquil places with no people. When solitude became enforced, she says: “I really missed the energy and found myself craving it and wanting to photograph people. Be careful what you wish for, eh?” Read Kelly’s West Side Story…

SUPPORT W42ST
If you like what we’ve been doing with our daily newsletter, website and community outreach during the pandemic, please consider supporting W42ST. We’ve had over 250 readers do so already, either as one-offs or monthly contributions. We plan to increase our editorial coverage during the rest of 2020, and to continue to keep you connected, updated and (most of all) upbeat.
Here’s what one supporter told us: “Hey W42ST team – I eagerly open your newsletter every single day. It’s a funny and well-written break from national politics and a global pandemic. Honestly, though, I’m not usually one to read newsletters. Yours however is different. Through it you provide laughs, value, and insight into HK’s best stories! It’s the flat out best newsletter that I have ever subscribed to. Keep Doing What You’re Doing!”
