Good morning and happy Thursday! It’s a beautiful crisp day out there. Enjoy…
We’re still a month away from Halloween but already it’s time to start thinking about Christmas. Experts and local business owners warn that a perfect storm of bad weather and supply chain issues will make it harder (and more expensive) to find a tree and the associated trinkets this year. More here…
Football season is in full swing, and what better way to enjoy America’s favorite sport than to sit back and enjoy some game day fried chicken? Tell us your favorite place in Hell’s Kitchen for wings, tenders, and fried chicken sandwiches. Whether it’s a sports bar, restaurant, or mom and pop chicken shop, we want to know!
Share your chicken secret, and why, here. All entries will be put into a sweepstake for a $100 gift card to use at The Pocket Bar or Back Pocket Bar. Closing date Monday, October 4, 2021

We wrote yesterday about the upcoming visit of Prince Harry to Intrepid in November. He’s guest of honor alongside Jon Bon Jovi — who has a few interesting connections to Hell’s Kitchen.
Jon worked as a janitor at the Power Station before finding international fame. The band recorded the video for their Number 1 single We Weren’t Born to Follow up on the roof of Clinton Recording Studios back in 2009 — and in the early days of the pandemic, Jon Bon Jovi recorded Do What You Can around New York — including on the flight deck of Intrepid.
I’m hoping to get a photo accreditation for the Gala event. I’ve photographed Prince Harry before — the last time was in the 1980s!
