For 45 years — come rain, shine or COVID — Encore Community Services have been delivering meals for the elderly from the basement of St Malachy’s Church (the Actor’s Chapel). We went out on deliveries with “Broadway’s Longest Running Act of Loving Care”. More here…
Sad news. Former Miss USA and Hell’s Kitchen resident Cheslie Kryst has died. Her body was found at 7:15am on Sunday morning on W42nd Street beneath the Orion Condominium building where she lived. More here…

One of the benefits of social media is when a memory pops up. It’s 3 years today since W42ST’s 50th Issue celebrations. “Congrats to our neighborhood mag W42ST on their 50th issue! We stopped by the party last night in HK to celebrate with drinks and great snacks,” said Brian Sloan and Mark Sam Rosenthal of the TV series West 40s.
