The US Small Business Administration updated its list of Shuttered Venue grants yesterday. Another 50 local arts organizations have been collectively awarded over $100m from the federal government’s initiative. Chana and Bailey from HK Free Store have organized a Swap and Share Event this Thursday at Hartley House. “We’re thrilled to use Hartley House’s outdoor historic courtyard for the event, keeping fresh air and distancing on our minds. HK Free Store doesn’t accept clothing or other textiles because of space and other constraints — the time is ripe for more neighborhood sharing of these items. It will be an opportunity to swap clothes, shoes, accessories, textiles, and more,” they told us.

Hartley House is at 413 W46th Street (between 9/10th Ave). The event takes place Thursday 8/12 between 6:30-8:30pm. More details here…
