Voting started on Saturday in the Democratic primary elections to replace term-limited Corey Johnson as the New York City council member for District 3 (which includes Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea and the West Village). There are six candidates on the ballot. This weekend, all six of those candidates denounced an advert backed by real estate developers through a political action committee (PAC). Read more…

Congratulations to Hell’s Kitchen resident and Meatpacking District’s Executive Director Jeffrey LeFrancois for putting on the L.E.A.F. Festival of Flowers this weekend.
