The first Amtrak train since Sunday ran at a reduced speed under the shuttered W51st Street parking garage early this morning. We asked for an update for locals who have their vehicles locked underground — and a Department of Building’s spokesperson told us: “The timeline from the site’s contractors would allow for cars to be safely removed from the garage early next week.”
