Stephane Toullieux owns a Paris-based fund management company and also hosts the Mega Tendances podcast, “commuting” to his apartment in Hell’s Kitchen several times a year. This is Stephane’s West Side Story.

So, what’s your New York story? Born here, or just arrived?
I bought an apartment in the neighborhood in 2014 and I “commute” from Paris, France, to Hell’s Kitchen (and W42nd Street) several times a year.
What was your first job? What do you do now?
Military service. I Was In the Navy… yes you can sing the song! I now own a Paris-based fund management company — and host a podcast called Mega Tendances (Mega Trends).
What’s your favorite New York minute (or moment) so far?
My first sunset on the rooftop of Atelier Condo Building.
Share with us why you love Hell’s Kitchen
Hell’s Kitchen is a village with its own culture. Diversity seems to define the neighborhood, which is great. Broadway is so close… and I love musicals. I attend conferences at the Javits Center for my job. So much to see, so much to do !
What’s your superpower or hidden talent?
I am super curious! I think curiosity is a virtue! Is it?
What else should we know about you?
I am a huge NYC fan, I love to listen to people. New Yorkers, wherever they come from, might be the real asset of New York.
