The Winter Village at Bryant Park opened today, and the first skaters took to the ice at 2pm in slightly waterlogged conditions.
The soggy start should not deter visitors from the Winter Market, now open with around 60 vendors (around a third of the usual booths). The selection has been tightly curated, and there’s lots of space to keep social distancing.
The Market will be open from now until January 3, Monday – Friday: 11am-8pm, and Saturday and Sunday: 10am-8pm. Skating starts earlier at 8am each day. You need to book to get on the rink, but it’s free with your own skates!
There are many food options ranging from Bun Ramen to Woops! and there are gifts galore from Friction Jewelry to United Leather. You can check out the full list here.
We took a few minutes to check with vendor Ron Menin from Hell’s Kitchen Hot Sauce. He’ll be there every day… got grab something hot from Ron!
