Today’s W42ST Daily presented by TFC — 9/23/2020

It was great to see the Manhattan Plaza Health Club open yesterday. There have been few opportunities to report good news, so it was a delight to see the W42ST Instagram feed start filling up with happy gym bunnies doing their thing. Remember it’s not just a gym, there’s an amazing climbing wall inside too. Go climb that mountain…

Be sure to take a look at their W42ST Best Gym Award while you are there.

EASY ON THE BLEACH!
Quick note for the local restaurant staff huddle today. Please go easy on the bleach!  One reader reports her brother’s shorts getting destroyed by the overzealous cleaning of a seat from the previous customer. Let’s be careful out there… (but not too careful!)

We’ve been following the hard work of Nicola Arcari and her team at Mercury Bar throughout the pandemic. The huge 9th Avenue Bar could only have a few tables outside which they’ve battled away (and innovated) with. They’re now almost ready for indoor dining. Follow their fun Instagram Stories (something Nicola also learned to do during the lockdown) to see their progress.
